Several hundred residents attended three meetings Wednesday of a Hendersonville group calling itself Citizens Against Politics As Usual. Times-News columnist Mike Tower and Lee Goldman, a Henderson County resident and former Times-News columnist who now writes for the Asheville Citizen-Times, organized the meetings. They urged those who attended to register as unaffiliated voters and step away from “partisan political dialogue.”
