Calderon Wins Mexico's Final Presidential Debate (Update3) Bloomberg News June 7 (Bloomberg) -- Felipe Calderon won Mexico's final presidential debate after attacking his main rival, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, as a borrow-and-spend candidate and pledging to take steps to improve the nation's competitiveness.
A telephone poll published by Reforma newspaper today showed 44 percent of 408 people who watched the face-off last night picked Calderon as the winner. Lopez Obrador had 30 percent and Roberto Madrazo, the candidate for the Institutional Revolutionary Party, had 11 percent. The poll was taken an hour after the debate and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.8 percentage points. .... [more]

I really don't think so, The so called "No Debate" didn't had a winner, experts say that there wasn't a winner. But the post-debate is really giving less points to Calderon, now that they say that Calderon's Brother in law, the Chief Executive Officer of Hildebrando S.A made a fraud with millions because he didn't pay taxes when there where contracts in the Energy Government Agency when Calderon was the Top manager of that entity.
Thanks for this update! Can you tell us more about what's happening on the ground with Obrador's campaign and support? It would be good to have some news that isn't filtered through the "mainstream" media...
