A Message from Georgia Independent Leader Helen Blocker Adams:

The Hankster received the following post from Augusta, Georgia businesswoman and independent activist Helen Blocker Adams. Helen is a busy woman! Here's what she's been up to:

We are 62 days from the November 4th General election and I want to do all I can to keep you informed of what's going on in our local, state and national politics.

1. Lynn Bailey, Executive Director, Richmond County Board of Elections expects an 85% voter turnout. WOW! To make sure you're registered to vote or confirm the location of your voting precinct, please visit http://www.augustaga.gov/ and click on the icon Ready, Set, Vote. There's lots of great information there. You can also go by her office on the first floor of the Municipal Building on Greene Street and pick up election marketing posters to post at your place or work, organization, or church. For Statewide election infomation, please visit http://www.sos.ga.gov/elections

2. I would be honored if you would tune in to my radio program, 'People and Issues with Helen' weekdays 12 noon - 3 p.m. on NewsRadio 1230 WNRR AM or streaming live at http://www.newsradio1230.com/. Feel free to reach out and touch so we can discuss the issues. Each Monday 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., we have a political roundtable discussion featuring local political pundits.
