Since Nebraska registers voters by party, it's not hard to learn a legislative candidate's party affiliation.

Louisiana has had nonpartisan elections for all state and local offices since 1975. It began having nonpartisan congressional elections in 1978 but has this year restored party primaries for those elections.

Washington state will begin holding nonpartisan congressional and state elections this year. The first round is scheduled for August 19.
