Minnesota: Repubs 29%, Dems 25%, independent voters?...

Political affiliations almost equal in state
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesotans are almost equally divided in their identification with Democrats and Republicans, according to the results of a new poll published Tuesday.

The latest Minnesota Poll by the Star Tribune found that 29 percent of Minnesotans called themselves Republicans, the same as a year ago. Those identifying themselves as Democrats was 25 percent, down from 31 percent a year ago. .... more
