Arizona independents score big for open primaries

Round Two of a proposal to allow independents to cast a ballot in the presidential preference elections - Arizona's equivalent to a presidential primary - went to supporters. And they scored big. The amendment that would open up presidential primaries to independents was successfully tacked onto two bills.
