Rumour: are you saying that Kinky's campaign is taking away from the "real" issues of health care, the war in Iraq, education, etc.?

I personally think that the biggest issue we have in politics in this country is the crisis in democracy - i.e. that the people have no way of discussing, never mind implementing, policy decisions. The good ol' boys' internecine clubhouse needs shaking up, and I applaud anybody willing to take them on.
