Independents Hopeful He May Run For President In 2008
ROCKY POINT, NY -- (04/21/2006;1900)(EIS) -- The Draft Trump for President Campaign has picked up steam.
Since February 2006 when Frank MacKay, Chairman of the New York State Independence Party, the largest third party in the nation, launched his draft Trump campaign - more than 100,000 people across the nation indicated their support by visiting the Draft Trump website, and thousands have offered to volunteer for the movement. The website is www.donaldtrump2008.com.
Yesterday on CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Trump sounded off on a host of international issues, and stated his position that America should declare victory in Iraq and move towards withdrawal. (TRUMP) "... the thing I like most about what's happening in Iraq, and the only thing good to come out of Iraq, is you happen to be based right next to Iran. But something has to be done with Iran, and something has to be done with North Korea." ....
